Automotive Service Advisor / Technician

Napleton's Northlake Autopark is seeking Service Advisors and Automotive Service Technicians who are team-oriented, customer service minded.?

The duties of a Service Advisor include:

  • Scheduling service appointments, meeting customers, and receiving vehicle information.

  • Listening to requests of the service desired, diagnosing repairs/maintenance needed and clearly explaining information on the repair order.

  • Referring the technician to the customer and/or test-driving the vehicle to confirm source(s) of service repairs.

  • Estimating the cost and time needed to do the repair, taking into account the customer?s schedule.

  • Handling customer complaints and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.

  • Periodically checking on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacting the customer when technicians discover additional problems.

  • Obtaining customer approval to perform additional work and explaining the purpose of any recommended repairs.

The duties of a Service Technician include:

  • Diagnoses and repairs to specifications ? brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.

  • Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.

  • Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.

  • Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.

  • Maintains an organized and neat bay.

We are seeking service technicians whose experience ranges from lube technicians to?certified master technicians.? ?Suzuki, Chrysler Jeep Dodge, or Hyundai specific experience preferred.?


  • Suzuki, Chrysler Jeep Dodge, or Hyundai service experience preferred.

  • At least 1 ASE certification for the technician position

  • Past Advisor experience with ADP.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
