The MOA supports virtual patient care delivery via use of Tytocare technology while on site at the retail clinics.

Responsibilities:
Provide clinical and administrative support to remote and/or in-person Advanced Practice Clinicians while on site at Advocate/Aurora Clinics at WalgreensComplete the patient registration process, which includes documenting patient demographics, processing insurance and copays and scheduling patient appointments in the electronic medical recordFacilitate waiting room management and patient rooming processesComplete vitals and point of care testing on patientsMonitor supply inventory; order clinical and office suppliesDevelop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, APCs, Walgreens store management and ACW leadership in support of patient care deliveryResponsible for maintaining a safe, professional, and organized clinic environmentOther duties as assignedMinimum Education and Experience Required:
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) required within 21 days of start dateEducation Required:
High school Diploma or GEDExperience Required:
Preferred 1-2 years experience in clinical and/or customer service settingKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; ability to develop rapport and maintain positive, professional relationships with a variety of patients, staff and clinicians.
Proficient computer skills including typing, navigation within a windows operating system, use of electronic mail and electronic medical records systems.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Travel between sites of care- may be requested to work at nearby Advocate/Aurora Clinic at Walgreens sites to fulfill business needsFlexible hoursAvailability to work rotating weekendsThe candidate must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies and moving equipment.
Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine-hand manipulation skills.
Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
