Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and supervision for animals in the kennel facility - Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their individual needs - Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas - Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor - Administer medications or treatments as directed by veterinary staff - Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming - Provide basic training and socialization for animals - Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service - Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior
Qualifications:
- Previous experience handling dogs in a professional setting preferred - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners - Knowledge of pet care practices, including feeding, exercise, grooming, and basic training - Familiarity with kennel operations and procedures - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks - Comfortable working with animals of various sizes and temperaments - Basic understanding of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus Note:
