The Dispatcher Position:
To assist our growing business, Midland Tool is seeking to hire a Dispatcher that will assist in ensuring proper operation.
Midland Tool expects this individual to scheduled and dispatch drivers, providing solutions to best assist our growing customer base.
Successful Dispatchers will have an upbeat attitude and provide innovative solutions to meet the needs of Midland's growing customer base and organizational needs.
Principal
Responsibilities:
Scheduling and dispatching drivers, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs Relaying information such as work orders or other messages to and from, supervisors or emergency personnel Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment Preparing daily work such as schedules Preparing work orders for crew or receiving work orders from work crews Being in charge of communications within company assigned territories Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information Additional responsibilities as assigned Required Experience and Skills:
2-4 years of dispatching experience Some industry experience Ability to problem solve on the job Skills and experience in tracking shipments and producing paperwork Ability to maintain schedule flexibility to meet job needs Microsoft Office experience, will provide training General Computer Skills Ability to multitask initiatives Valid Driver's License The Company offers a rich benefits package, including paid time off, Medical Insurance, 100% Employer paid Dental Insurance for employees and their families, Vision insurance, Company-paid Life Insurance, STD and LTD, and a 401(k) with Company match.
