We are looking for an experienced Sanitation Technician for our Calumet City location to join our team, and enjoy a dynamic, collaborative culture.

Summary:
The Sanitation Technician will be responsible for all cleanliness and sanitation of Production, Operations and all interior and exterior perimeters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned:
Responsible for the sanitation of all areas in the plant surrounding area and operations facility.
Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing them with floor scrubber.
General sanitation of the work area by cleaning walls, locker rooms, rest rooms, floors, windows and sinks, to keep areas free from germs and bacteria.
Perform repetitive tasks and follow instructions.
General janitorial duties which include emptying garbage cans from the plant, plant break rooms, conference rooms, offices and any other areas in the facility.
Perform all responsibilities following established GMP, Food Safety, Personal Safety and Quality policies and procedures.
Must be able to follow written procedures.
Must wear required PPE at all times.
Understand and be responsible for compliance with facility sanitation regulations and procedures.
Ensure safe handling and proper usage of cleaning chemicals.
Maintain and restock bathroom soap, paper towels and tissue.
Keep accurate paperwork and complete ALL required paperwork and log all tasks daily.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or
Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Language Skills:
Ability to communicate (read, write and speak) proficiently in English.
