We are looking for a 'Quality Technician for our Calumet City location to join our team, and enjoy a dynamic, collaborative culture.
This role will allow you to engage with the many exciting facets of a flavor and ingredient manufacturer.
The ideal individual will work hard and be results driven, but also have fun along the way.
This temporary position could lead to full-time employment.
Summary:
Performs Quality Assurance tasks and other Quality Assurance related responsibilities as assigned by the Quality Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Daily quality testing of finished product Sampling of product Maintenance of quality paperwork Auditing of the quality system Raw material handling and monitoring preferred Providing customer service for quality-related questions Supervisory
Responsibilities:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.
Qualifications:

Experience:

Strong capabilities in presentation skills to articulate quality information to other internal departments.
Mathematical Skills:
Strong aptitude in dealing with figures, understanding formulas and amounts.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to analyze data, procedures and processes.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows-based operating systems and database software.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
