Are you passionate about your commitment to delivering exceptional service to our loyal clientele and the highest quality care to their boarded and hospitalized pets? If so, this opportunity is for you! Primary Responsibilities Ensure upkeep of the kennels, the grounds, and the facility throughout the day Regular kennel cleaning includes detailing of the walls, floors, ceilings, and doors In addition to general cleaning, your duties will include lawn and garden maintenance - (mowing, leaf removal, keen observation of exterior pests for pest control, snow shovel of sidewalks, etc ) Maintain the buildings maintenance requests & grounds requests Ensure security and safety awareness Ensure all dogs are walked multiple times throughout the day regardless of weather conditions Feed and provide clean water to patients at least twice daily Maintain grooming of all the dogs and cats in our care Grooming services include trimming toenails, cleanings ears, and expressing anal glands (will be assisted by technician) Maintain accurate elimination/feeding records notation Notate tasks completed in computer software or other means provided Assist in maintaining accurate inventory, OSHA awareness, and compliance Assist Veterinary Technicians and Doctors as needed.
Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays and Holidays but responsibility is shared with other employees in Kennel.
What you Should Bring to the Team (Qualifications) A High School Diploma A minimum of 2 years consistent Customer Service experience or at least two years of some college Familiarity with medical and veterinary terminology desired but will to train the right individual Ability to remain calm and exhibit patience and compassion during emergency and challenging situations Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to understand and translate Spanish would be considered a plus! Strong computer skills; Ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm accurately desired Compensation & Benefits Your superior customer service skills and professionalism will be rewarded with a competitive starting range of $15.
00 to $16.
50 per hour, dependent upon education and/or experience.

Schedules will be between the hours of:
Monday and Tuesday from 8am to 6pm Wednesdays from 8am to 2pm, and 6pm Thursdays and Fridays from 8am to 6pm Saturdays from 8am to 1pm, 6pm Sundays - morning shift starts at 7:
30pm, afternoon shift at 1-2 pm and evening shift at 6-7, pm.
Shifts are shared The practice closes from 12pm to 2pm daily, except for Wednesdays.
