has an exciting opportunity for a Lab Technician to join us at our Calumet City, IL location.
This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Quality function.
This position will report to Quality Manager.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Perform analytical procedures proficiently and interpret the results Ability to work independently and provide in depth troubleshooting Perform adhesives performance testing in an accurate and timely manner Observe safe work practices at all times, when performing duties Maintain knowledge of safe chemical handling and SDS's Perform routine quality control and process control testing Properly handle hazardous waste.
Assist and support other departments as required In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent laboratory experience Computer experience with knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Working knowledge of SPC/SQC Fluent in written and spoken English Ability to climb stairs and lift 50 pounds.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
